Callie: the missing Linux calendar

Callie keeps up with your Google, Outlook and CalDAV calendars and gives you day, week, month and agenda views that are quick to read and quick to change. Free, open source, no subscription, and no AI features you did not ask for.

What it does

All your calendarsGoogle, Outlook and Microsoft 365, and CalDAV servers such as Fastmail, iCloud and Nextcloud, several accounts at once, synced in the background and readable offline. Show or hide each calendar with a click.

Calendars of your ownKeep calendars on your computer as files other apps can read, subscribe to calendars by their link, and add events from an .ics file to any calendar or save a calendar as one.

Install

On Fedora 44 or later, Debian 13 or later, or Ubuntu 26.04 or later, this installs the latest release with your package manager, after checking the download, and adds the Greylock Labs repository so updates come with your system's:

It stops without changing anything on other systems. To see what it would do first, add -s -- --dry-run after sh. Or download the package from the latest release and install it yourself:

What it does not do

Callie is a calendar. It does not do tasks, scheduling links, or AI. It has no account system and no servers: your calendar data goes between your computer and your calendar provider, and nowhere else, apart from places you type, which Callie can look up on OpenStreetMap.
